About Me

My name is Leona Garcia, and I have a deep passion for serving others and building meaningful relationships within my community. I believe that every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued. My faith, family, and love for people guide everything I do. Whether I’m working with families, volunteers, or community partners, my goal is to bring encouragement, hope, and connection to those around me.

Likes:

Spending time with my family and making meaningful memories, encouraging and uplifting others, music and dancing (especially Zumba!), building community connections, seeing families succeed and grow, serving others through faith and purpose.

Dislikes:

Seeing families struggle without support, negativity that discourages others, injustice toward children and vulnerable families, missed opportunities to help someone in need.

Leona Garcia serves as a dedicated team member with Amarillo Angels, where she works closely with families experiencing foster care involvement and community challenges. Through her role, she helps connect families with supportive volunteers, resources, and encouragement through programs such as Love Box and Dare to Dream.

Leona is known for her compassionate leadership, strong faith, and ability to build authentic relationships with families and community partners. Her heart for service drives her to advocate for children and caregivers while creating spaces where families feel supported and valued. She believes that when a community comes together, lasting change and hope can truly happen.
